I might just be the inventor of this method, who knows? Never heard of anyone else doing it that way before.
Simple! and odourless.

I think there is acid already in your stomach.
What you are doing might be the same as ingesting unactivated MMS alone.
I thought the HCL was the same as stomach acid, but not positive about that one.
Anyway, here is a non sugar sweetener that may help:

It is called Xyla and has xylitol in it.

When you think of it, why activate outside of your body and have to smell it going down when all you need to do is activate it once inside?

But MMS1 is highly alkaline - just under the very top of the scale. That much alkalinity can damage tissue - think of 35% hydrogen peroxide on skin - (which is one of the reasons JH says to rinse it off the skin in 5 minutes if you're doing straight MMS1 for an acid bite or burn) - the citric acid brings the ph back down to close to neutral. If one takes it with enough water that it dilutes it, and if one has enough existing stomach acid, in addition to quickly taking the citric acid, I'm guessing the alkalinity will not be problematic.
Keep us posted, those of you who do the "in the stomach" activation (I know Germs is one of a number on this forum who do it) and let us know how this works out for you over time.

Importance of Stomach Acid
Published on: April 5, 2026
You have heard it said, “You are what you eat”, but in my opinion, it’s more accurate to say “You are what you absorb.” Stomach acid plays an important role in what nutrients you absorb from the food you eat. When someone is deficient in stomach acid the vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and other nutrients …
