They tend to not be airtight and so will leak, unless you sand them down to fit. I do that using a diamond rotary tool at the top part of the stopper, and diamond embedded pastes everywhere on the glass bottle mouth to glass stopper joint. The good old clip lid containers that CLO2 originally used work just fine. Most of those clamp-wire bottles leak like a sieve, even the expensive higher quality bottles, has been my experience.

And, there is not much pressure inside those clamp-wire jars compared to the very high pressure inside bottles using the QCDS-D method. The high pressure is present for the first 30 minutes of the 3 hour activation period, then reduces. 




 

I found if you put an extra seal on the clip-lid jars it doesn't leak at all and is a lot tighter obviously.

Not saying you shouldn't use them, just make sure they don't leak.

I assume you are using silicone sealing rings. Those are pretty good, but CLO2 gas will pass through silicone and escape.

Did I mention that Telegram uses "Names" and "Usernames" which are not the same? A Username will have an "@" at the beginning of a Username. You do not need to add the @, they will add it. 

A Telegram "Name" can be used by anyone, but a "Username" is unique to only one user. 

Go to "My Profile" to double check your Name and Username. 

Im definitely impressed by peoples ability to make their own CDS, but why?????? First of all, its reasonably cheap to buy ready made CDS and MMS is even cheaper to buy (2 bottles that take 30 secs to activate) and easier to make. What are the benefits of self made CDS??????

Hi Matt. First of all MMS1, CDH, CDM and CDS are not the same CLO2 solutions, at all. Which one to choose depends on the situation. For example, yesterday I chose CDH for two different people. There is usually a best CLO2 solution for every ailment and situation. 

Attached is a PDF file about commercially available CDS. The testing was done by someone in Germany. He was appalled at what he measured and the cost, which was not cheap. There are good reasons to make your own CDS.
