Thanks for the info how much do you put in a bucket? strength? I love to have a go at it. Do your horses have shoes on or are they barefoot and what do you do against fungus under hoofs, hoofwals, ulcers and rainscall and wogs on skin in hair. I have only one horse and she seems to have hardly any of these problems but other horse owners are struggling with all these things and somethimes badly. I like to see if I can figure something out to be helpfull. What are your experiences would you mind passing this on to me?

He's only been on it since New Year, so I'll be interested to see how he makes out with Bot fly this summer. No experience with the other problems you mentioned.

I just notice that my horse has problems with her hoof and I like to give her CDS but I do not want her to overdose seeing they can not vomit. Can you tell me how much CDS they are getting in a day to drink. I see they have options to choose from but how much do you put in a bucket of 20 liters.
Any other advice you have when I think she had a ulcer under her foot or bruising not sure but she has difficulties walking.
Many thanks

Thanks for the info, just wondering does your son uses it topical, I have been reading a lot about dmso on horses and they find it to hot.... itchy etc. When DMSO is mixed with water to dilute it to 60% then it will be heating up and think that would feel like a burn to the horse. Is it possible to get a bit more info from you Son can i email him or is he not behind the computer. Laminitis etc is a big problem were we live with our lush dairy farm land so would be good to get something on paper to present to the horse people.
Thanks

my son puts the DMSO in a spray bottle or makes a DMSO poltice, he sprays or puts the poltice on the hoof and leaves it for 5-10 minutes and rinses with a clean water spray bottle of water, he has also used a DMSO gel, both work equally well, he says do this twice daily to reduce the swelling, he says it works well with laminitis but try to keep them off rich grass and bring them in for a day or two. He works with the race horses at Lingfield. Also he did say that he has no problem with buring when doing it this way.
What's the formula for the poultice?

More is Not Always Better
Published on: June 9, 2026
In my books, there are times when one might need to take larger doses of MMS/CD. In Protocol 2000, for example you’ll find maximum dosage amounts. Some might take this to mean the more MMS one takes the better. But this is NOT necessarily so! More is not necessarily better, you need to listen to …

Nutritional Research Information

Note: The following was written by Jim around 2012, and we are putting it here as food for thought. The subject of “nutrition” in the world today, is quite subjective, with a wide range of factors weighing into this equation, such as how the food is grown, handled, stored, processed, etc. etc. In addition, we …

Longevity Tip: Take a Nap!
Published on: May 11, 2026
Eighty five percent of mammals, that is animals, take naps during the day. It is not really apparent if humans were meant to take naps or not, but children certainly take naps naturally. I personally have taken from 20 to 45 minute daily naps during my entire life. They keep one fresh. People often worry …

More on HCl (Stomach Acid)
Published on: April 20, 2026
Dilute HCl can be used as an aid to MMS/CD. Eighty years ago, back in the 1920’s and 30’s thousands of people were healed by a few doctors of many diseases including cancer. Eventually they were stopped, but there was one doctor who worked in the jungles of Mexico who had years and years of …
